Construction Update #17: Solterra South Mesquite Creek Trail Is Officially Open!

Early Summer 2025 marks another milestone for Solterra, Texas: the completion of the Solterra South Mesquite Creek Trail.

First unveiled in our August 5, 2024 construction update, the 1.22-mile trail has transitioned from blueprint to reality—inviting residents, neighbors, and outdoor enthusiasts to explore a beautifully crafted path that winds through the South Mesquite Creek floodplain and into Valley Creek Park.

A new 12-ft-wide Contech pedestrian bridge unites Solterra with Valley Creek Park, so runners can leave their front doors and reach baseball diamonds, additional fishing spots, and football fields without ever touching a busy road.
