Big things are taking shape at The Headquarters Amenity Complex in Solterra, Texas! This highly anticipated $25M hub of recreation and relaxation is quickly becoming a reality, offering a resort-style experience unlike anything else in the region. With three signature pools—an activity pool, a kiddie pool, and an adult pool with private cabanas—plus a dramatic sand beach entry to the lake, the complex promises a coastal vibe right in the heart of Texas.

As we move closer to completion, here’s an inside look at the latest construction milestones.

Dream Destination

The Activity Pool

May 27th: Pool plumbers jackhammered the pool deck to investigate and resolve leaks while electricians prepped exterior lighting.
May 29th: Backfilling began for electrical conduits, and the equipment pad was adjusted. Plumbers continued troubleshooting underground leaks.
May 30th: Electricians ran wire to pool light poles and began cleanup near pool bathrooms.
June 5th (scheduled): Final forms and rebar will be placed around the adult pool, with inspections and conduit backfill planned.
June 6th (scheduled): Electrical systems including lights, plugs, and switches will be finalized, pending final inspection.

The Kiddie Pool & Cabana

May 29th: Cleanup efforts began near cabana #3 following recent rains. Crews also worked to reset rebar and forms for surrounding sidewalks.
May 31st: Hughs and Son poured 50 yards of concrete for the west sidewalk near the cabanas, signaling key progress on walkways.
June 5th (scheduled): Concrete pours will continue—approximately 60 yards around cabana 3 and stair footers at the nearby bar area are planned.

The Sand Beach Entry 

The crown jewel of Solterra’s aquatic offerings is undoubtedly the lake with a sand beach entry. This stunning feature will bring the serene ambiance of a beach getaway right to Texas.

Lake activities will include:

• Kayaking and Canoeing
• Swimming
• Paddleboarding
• Catch and release fishing

May 28th–30th: Irri-Tech worked on trenching and laying irrigation lines near the east parking lot by the pond—essential groundwork for the lakefront and beach areas.
June 3rd–6th (scheduled): Layout continues for tree and drainage placement on the south side of the parking lot, extending westward. Underground conduits by the adult pool will be finalized, and lighting in Area 2 will be completed.

Final Touches Coming Soon

Here’s what to expect as construction wraps up:

• June 2nd–6th: Interior punch list work across paint, flooring, and millwork
• June 3rd: Pouring sidewalks on the east side of the complex
• June 5th–6th: Final electrical inspection and fire safety walkthroughs
• June 7th–8th: No scheduled work—site will be prepped for next week’s progress
• Irrigation installation will continue near the dog pool
• Street and parking lot cleanup will begin in front of the amenity center
