Welcome to a great day of Tee Time
It was a perfect day at the Mesquite Golf Club on May 3rd, 2024, where Solterra Texas proudly served as the title sponsor for the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament, aptly named The Solterra Classic. Over 100 participants enjoyed the great weather, making it an ideal setting for both seasoned golfers and enthusiastic beginners.
The Solterra Classic is not just a golf event: it’s a community celebration and an excellent opportunity for local businesses to connect. The event kicked off with delicious breakfast tacos and complimentary cold drinks such as cold brews and lemonade slushies from C-Man Coffee. A perfect way to prepare for a long day of golf. We were then welcomed with a speech by Alexander Helagr, President of Mesquite Chamber of Commerce, who emphasized the commitment to supporting local initiatives and strengthening community bonds. Following the opening remarks, participants drove their golf carts to their starting holes for a shotgun start, marking the beginning of a day filled with friendly competition and networking.
Highlights from the Solterra Classic Golf Event
The tournament featured a variety of fun challenges, including the longest drive and closest-to-the-pin contest, providing plenty of laughs and spirited competition. Midway through the day, golfers enjoyed a catered lunch from Whataburger at the clubhouse, where they had the chance to mingle.
Local businesses seized the opportunity to showcase their offerings through T-Boxes tabling and goodies. It was a delight to encounter familiar faces like our esteemed builder client, Chesmar Homes. Additional players included
