This free, family-friendly event features giant water slides, bounce houses, lawn games, and festive photo ops—plus delicious BBQ and food trucks. The night wraps up with an exciting glow party, so be sure to dress in your most patriotic red, white, and blue, and bring your glow gear for when the sun sets!

Forney Independence Day Celebration

Just a short drive from Solterra, the Forney Independence Day Celebration offers a free, family-friendly evening at Forney Community Park. Enjoy live music by the party band Inside Out from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, a variety of food trucks, bounce houses for the kids, and a spectacular fireworks show starting at 9:30 PM from the north side of the Community Park (near the main entrance/parks building).

- There will not be overflow parking this year due to new multi-use fields.

Celebrate Independence Day with Rowlett’s largest event of the summer! Fireworks on Main features live performances by Emerald City Band, Texas High Road, and Brazos Elkins. Families can enjoy delicious offerings from local food vendors, plus a Kids’ Area packed with bounce houses, obstacle courses, a climbing wall, and activities from Ninja Nation. The evening concludes with a stunning fireworks show and free glow-in-the-dark giveaways for all ages.
